What happens if my license expires?
If your license for the Just: AI Scenario Editor for Jira expires, your access to the app will become restricted. Here’s what you need to know about how the app behaves during an expired license period and what changes when your license is renewed.
1. Read-Only Mode
Once your license expires, the app will switch to read-only mode, meaning you will still have access to all existing data, but certain operations will be restricted. Specifically:
Chats: You can retrieve and view all previously created chats and their contents, but you cannot start new chats or continue existing ones.
Scenarios: All created scenarios remain accessible for viewing. You can review the details of any scenario you’ve built, but you cannot run any new scenarios or make edits to existing ones.
Contexts: Similarly, you can check and view any previously created contexts, but the option to add or modify contexts will be unavailable.
2. Restricted Actions
During the license expiration period, the following actions will be disabled:
Running any existing scenarios.
Interacting with the app to create new chats, scenarios, or contexts.
You will only be able to perform read operations, meaning viewing existing data without the ability to make any changes.
3. What Happens When the License is Renewed?
Once you renew your license, all the restrictions imposed during the expired period will be immediately lifted. You will regain full access to the app’s functionality, including:
The ability to run scenarios as usual.
Adding new contexts, scenarios, chats or modifying existing ones.
Continuing or starting new chats.
In short, when your license is expired, the app ensures you can still access all critical information, but the ability to interact with and modify content will be restricted until the license is restored.
