How to build a new AI scenario
Step 1: Open the Scenario Builder
Navigate to the Scenarios panel, then click the “+” button located at the top of the scenario list. This will open the scenario builder where you can create a new custom AI-driven scenario.
Step 2: Set a name and define the Scenario Steps
Using the step-by-step interface, outline each action you want the AI to take. Be specific about what the AI should do at each stage, such as retrieving data, generating content, or analyzing information. Each step can include multiple tasks depending on your workflow.
Step 3: Customize the Scenario Context
By default, the scenario will automatically include key context elements such as the Project Description and the currently selected Jira issue. You can review these pre-populated fields and modify or add context if your scenario requires more information or different parameters.
Step 4: Choose AI Provider and Configure Settings
Select your preferred AI provider, such as OpenAI or Anthropic. Then, fine-tune the provider-specific settings, like model type, temperature, or token limits, to optimize how the AI handles each task in the scenario. These settings will influence the output quality and accuracy.
Step 5: Save or Run the Scenario
You have two options:
Save the Scenario: If you plan to reuse the scenario, click "Save" to store it for future access.
Run the Scenario Immediately: If you don't need to save, click "Run" to execute the scenario instantly based on your current configuration.
Step 6: Review Results and Adjust
Once the scenario has run, review the output to ensure the AI performed the tasks as expected. If necessary, you can go back and adjust any steps, settings, or context to fine-tune the scenario for better results.
