While the Just app plugin can be used in both modal and full-page views of Jira issues, we strongly recommend using the full-page view. This provides a cleaner, more organized layout and helps prevent the clutter often associated with modal windows.

Contexts

After installing the Just plugin, you’ll need to define the Project Description for better context. This description helps AI understand your project and tasks, allowing it to create more accurate and relevant scenarios. You can provide any relevant details, such as project goals, scope, and typical workflows.

Info

Project description is already added to each scenario version as a confluence page with subpages context. But, until any page is selected - this context have no effect and igrnored.

fulfill 4 project-related contexts:

  1. Project: Purpose

  2. Project: Target Audience

  3. Project: Features / Advantages

  4. Project: Tech Stack

Info

All four project-related contexts have been pre-configured in each scenario version with sample data, potential data sources, and guidance for AI to identify missing or placeholder information. While these contexts are optional, completing them is highly recommended. By including details on purpose, target audience, features, and tech stack, you enhance the AI’s ability to generate accurate and business-relevant suggestions tailored to your project.

If you choose not to complete these fields, simply deactivate them in the scenario version you’re running. Please note that this may reduce the precision of AI-generated suggestions, potentially leading to less aligned recommendations for your needs.

2. Check Scenario Results with Default System API Key

...

Now that you’ve seen how the default scenario works, it’s time to create your own! Identify a repetitive or time-consuming task that could benefit from automation. With Just, you can design custom AI scenarios to automate processes tailored specifically to your needs.

How to Build a Scenario:

  1. Click the "+" Button: On the scenarios list, click the “+” button to start building a new scenario.

  2. Provide Instructions: Use the step-by-step interface to outline the exact process you want the AI to follow. Define each step the AI should perform to complete your desired task.

  3. Adjust Contexts: By default, Just populates key contexts like the Project Description and the selected Jira issue. You can modify these if your scenario requires additional or different context.

  4. Set AI Provider and Settings: Choose your preferred AI provider (e.g., OpenAI or Anthropic) and adjust the specific settings for that provider to optimize how the scenario runs.

  5. Save or Run the Scenario: You can either save the scenario for future use or run it immediately without saving. If you skip saving, the scenario will execute based on the current settings.

  6. Run and Review: Execute your custom scenario and see how AI automates the task, streamlining your workflow and saving you valuable time.
